An edition reprinted in Collections of the Massachusetts Historical Society, series 5, vol. 6, contains an Epistle dedicatory, signed with the initials A. H., which suggest Alex. Holmes, one of the subscribers to the Petition to the Queen, at the end of the pamphlet.
Sibley, in his Biographical sketches of graduates of Harvard University, vol. 2, p. 317, refers to a petition, headed by Nathaniel Higginson, to Queen Anne, in 1706, for the removal of Joseph Dudley from the office of governor.
Sabin quotes the North American Review, vol. 3, p. 305, as follows: “This (Continued on the next card.) [This work is kept on the Special Libraries Floor.]”
